An Irishman has died while swimming at popular Portuguese tourist location Albufeira.
The 52-year-old was recovered from the water at Inatel Beach in the Algarve, after getting into difficulty yesterday afternoon.
It's understood two locals jumped in to help, but also got into difficulty and were rescued by lifeguards.

The Irishman was declared dead at the scene.
The Department of Foreign Affairs said it is aware of the situation and consular assistance is being provided.
