An Irish man has been selected to serve as jury foreman for the criminal trial of former US President Donald Trump in New York.
The man - known only as Juror B400 - reportedly lives in West Harlem and works in sales.
The court has heard the man is married with no children, is 'outdoorsy' and gets his news from The New York Times, Fox News and MSNBC - as well as the Daily Mail.
He is one of seven jurors selected to serve on the panel of 12 and six alternates in the historic trial.
They include an oncology nurse, an attorney, an IT consultant, a teacher and a software engineer.
Several others had been excused yesterday after saying they could not be impartial or because they had other commitments.
Judge Juan Merchan warned the former US president about "intimidating" potential jurors in the case on Tuesday.
He said Mr Trump was audibly uttering something while his lawyers were questioning prospective jury members and warned: "I will not have any jurors intimidated in the courtroom."
Mr Trump denies falsifying business records to cover up a hush money payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels.
The case is the first of Mr Trump's four criminal cases to go to trial and may be the only one that could reach a verdict before the US presidential vote in November.
If convicted, Mr Trump - the presumptive Republican presidential nominee - would become the first former US president convicted of a crime.
He has pleaded not guilty to 34 felony counts of falsifying business records.
On X (formally Twitter), CNN presenter Jim Sciutto remarked: "What could be more New York than an Irish foreperson?"
