An Irish nanny who is accused of killing a baby girl she was caring for in the US has requested bail ahead of her trial.
Aisling McCarthy-Brady (35) is originally from Lavey in Co. Cavan. She denies killing Rehma Sabir last January.
The baby was hospitalised as a result of injuries on her first birthday and died two days later.

Her defence team have told a pre-trial hearing in Massachusetts that prosecutors have still not turned over medical reports about the earlier fractures and other evidence vital to their case.
She is due to go on trial for murder next April.
