The Irish nanny charged with the murder of a baby girl (1) in the US state of Massachusetts is due to apply for bail today ahead of her trial in April.
Aisling McCarthy-Brady (35) is originally from from Lavey in Co. Cavan. She is accused of murdering Rehma Sabir in January 2013.
She denies the charge.
The baby was hospitalised as a result of injuries on her first birthday and died two days later.
At a hearing last week, her lawyers claimed that bone fractures suffered by Rehma happened three to four weeks before her death, and not while she was in the care of Ms. McCarthy-Brady.
Prosecutors say they will address those claims at the hearing later today.
