An Irish nanny faces a murder charge in Boston - over the death of a baby in her care.
Aisling McCarthy Brady was originally charged with assault and battery after the death of 12-month-old Rehma Sabir in January.
She's pleaded not guilty to all charges.
34-year-old Aisling McCarthy-Brady - originally from Lavey in Co. Cavan - was last night indicted for 'first degree murder' by a grand jury in Massachusetts.
She had previously pleaded not guilty to assault and battery of 12-month-old Rehma Sabir.
The baby was admitted to hospital with severe head injuries on her first birthday last January and died two days later.
Prosecutors say Ms McCarthy-Brady was alone with the child when the fatal injuries occurred.
Her lawyers maintain she's 'absolutely innocent' - and say the charges are wrong and have compounded the tragedy of the Rehma Sabir's death.
A trial date has not yet been set.
