Air passengers are being warned to expect disruption to flights between Ireland and the UK today, as blankets of snow continue to fall across Britain.
Up to 100 flights - to and from Heathrow airport in London - have so far been cancelled, including two British Airways flights from Dublin this morning - and two others due to arrive in Dublin.
Both, Dublin and Cork airports are said to be fully operational, however, Aer Lingus and Ryanair are advising passengers to check with their airlines before heading to the airport.
The disruption has left thousands of passengers sleeping on floors at Heathrow overnight, while others were kept on planes on the runway for up to seven hours.
