An Irish college student feared missing in Poland since Wednesday has been located.

UCC student Aidan Lynch (20) from Rochestown in Co Cork was found earlier this morning.

He had been on holidays with nine others in Krakow when he parted company with the group.

Fears were raised when Aidan did not make his flight home. His parents travelled to the country, where they liaised with Department of Foreign Affairs officials in the search.

UCC mounted a social media campaign to help find Aidan and they have confirmed this morning that he has been located.
