An Irishman has been killed while fighting in Ukraine.
The family of Finbar Cafferkey has confirmed he died in the east of the country.
Originally from Achill in Co Mayo, Cafferkey had previously fought against ISIS in Syria.
Described as a military volunteer with previous combat experience, he had recently travelled to Ukraine to help local forces there.
