The body of an Irish man missing in Italy has been found. 

On Friday, the 39-year-old went out hiking with his brothers on the island of Sardinia.

He decided to go his own way and the family were unable to find him afterwards. 

Local media are now reporting that his body has been found and the Department of Foreign Affairs have confirmed they are aware of the case.
