Police in the UK are searching for a man who has been caught taking and uploading selfie's on a phone he allegedly stole. 

The victim, whose phone went missing during a night out in a nightclub in Newcastle last week, noticed the selfies appearing on his iCloud the day after his phone dissappeared. 

Police are now searching for the thief after several of his posts, including pictures of himself and mentions of 'Aberdeen', have appeared on a cloud database.

Northumbria police are now appealing for anyone with more information on the man to come forward or for the man in the pictures himself to come forward and return the phone.

Although the man in the pictures is widely believed to be the thief, the Police have warned he ‘may have come into possession of the phone in good faith’.
