Another charity has confirmed its staff are taking unpaid leave in a bid to save on running costs.
The Irish Society of Prevention of Cruelty to Children (ISPCC) says its taking are considerably down for the first 6 months of the year.
Management did make some staff redundant to deal with the crisis but even that was not enough to bring the books back into the black.
It comes after another children’s charity – Barnardos – announced it is closing its doors for a week to save money.
