Israel has said it will not return to peace talks with Hamas as long as Palestinian militants continue to fire rockets into Israel.

“Israel will not engage in negotiations under fire, and will continue to act in every way to change the current reality and to bring quiet to all of its citizens,” Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said.

Palestinian negotiators at the talks have said they will leave the talks, brokered by Egypt and hosted in Cairo, unless Israeli negotiators return to the table by this afternoon.

An 11 year old Palestinian boy was shot and killed by Israeli troops i the West Bank, earlier today.

Khalil Mohammed al-Anati was killed in a reugee camp, while playing outside his home, according to the AFP.
