Nicki Minaj's performance at Malahide Castle on Saturday has sparked strong criticism from disappointed fans, who have described the event as a "disgrace" and a “disaster”.
The US rapper was an hour and a half late on stage, leaving fans waiting in the rain, and played for just 45 minutes – well under the two hours promised.
The Anaconda singer has today pulled out of a festival in Romania, citing “safety concerns” and the “wellbeing of our team and myself”.
'Lame excuse'
Ross, who was at the gig on Saturday, told Lunchtime Live today that he didn’t agree heavy rainfall was behind the superstar’s lateness.
“I think it’s a lame excuse because the Kings of Leon were playing in Croke Park in the rain and they had no issue; they didn’t have to stop the gig and they weren’t late,” he said.
“It’s one thing to be late, it happens when you’re travelling and you’re on tour, but there was no apology afterwards.”

Also in attendance was Ruby, who said the entire experience “was awful”.
“We were absolutely freezing, and the rain didn’t help,” she said.
“People started arguing, there were fights, and people being pulled out of the crowd.
“There was so little to do that people were just resorting to getting into arguments just for the fun of it.”
'Terrifying'
She said the concert was a waste of money.
“At one point, we were wondering if she was going to come back after a costume change, and it was terrifying,” she said.
“We thought, ‘Oh my God, did we just pay nearly €100 for nothing?’
“Most tickets were between €70 and €90, but we heard that some people in the golden circle at the front paid nearly €200 for theirs.”

Mark told the show he had travelled from Galway to bring his daughters to the gig.
“It was terrible, the whole thing was lip-synced,” he said.
“She got through most of her set list, but she would sing a bit of a verse and chorus, then shout at her staff, sing another verse and chorus, then get changed.
“I've been to hundreds of concerts, and without a doubt, it was the worst experience I've ever had attending a concert.”
Nicki Minaj previously cancelled a gig in Dublin in 2019 an hour before it was due to start.
