The warning will come into force in Leinster and Munster this afternoon and in the rest of the country tomorrow.
The good weather is seeing people all over the country flock to the seaside and Newstalk reporter Henry McKean has been only too happy to join them.
He delivered this report on Newstalk Breakfast this morning.
One group of friends told Henry they were ‘absolutely buzzing’ to be going to the beach.
“We’re enjoying everything,” they said.
“We’re local to here and we didn’t get a chance to get away to Lanzarote this year, so we are here in Portmarnock, County Dublin and proud to be here.
“We’re delighted to have this on our doorstep 24/7. It’s just fabulous – Ireland at its best.”

A pair of girls from Argentina and Spain said it is fantastic to finally see the sun in Dublin.
“It feels like Spain,” said one. “It is amazing. It is really nice. Amazing weather.”
One family brought their chihuahua to the beach with them.
“It’s absolutely beautiful we’re here with the whole family,” they said.
“We’re making the most of it. It’s absolutely amazing. We can’t wait try a burger and an ice-cream.”

“It was just potluck that we took a few days off this week,” said another family.
“It is quite busy but there’s a couple of beaches left and right so it’s always going to be busy.
“It’s just been lovely to get the kids out on their summer holidays, to enjoy a bit of the sun. We don’t need to go abroad we can enjoy it here instead.”
“It is amazing. It is great. It is like a holiday at home. It’s just perfect.”

Meanwhile, Dubliner Avril Coleman found a pair of rings in the sand of the beach – and quickly returned them to the owner.
“I’ve just found two rings. It looks like an engagement ring and a wedding. They look like lady’s rings, they’re small
“I just found them on the beach there. We’re only after coming on so maybe it was from the other day and they came in with the tide, I don’t know.
“I’m about to put it up on Facebook now so if everyone wants to get sharing, we’ll see who the owner is and get it back to them.”
Avril was able to reunite the rings with their owner later in the day.
