As we ring in December, and the acceptable start of the Christmas season, you should expect everything to get a lot more festive.
Last night on O'Connell Street in Dublin a new world record was set when almost 1,300 people arrived wearing Christmas jumpers.
The Geansaí Nollaig event, which ran alongside the official lighting of the Christmas tree by mayor Christie Burke, raised money for the Make a Wish Foundation.
