J.K. Rowling has asked for planning permission to build replicas of the Hogwarts turrets in her back garden.

The Harry Potter author wants to build 2 treehouses 40 feet off the ground – complete with balconies and spiral staircases.

The buildings, which will be shielded from view by a hedge, will cost 150-thousand pounds sterling.
