The funeral of murdered Irish woman Jill Meagher is to take place in Melbourne this coming Friday.
Her uncle Michael McKeon confirmed that there will be a private service and cremation in Melbourne on Friday morning.
After this her parents will take her ashes to Perth.
Meanwhile members of the public continue to sign books of condolences to the young woman in Drogheda.
Yesterday some 30,000 people marched through Melbourne to pay their respects to Ms. Meagher.
A 41-year-old man has been charged with her rape and murder.
The 29-year-old Louth woman was found dead outside the city last week after she disappeared following a night out with work colleagues.
Her mother Edith McKeon attended the march yesterday and read out hundreds of messages attached to flowers left for her daughter.
The organiser of the “peace march” was Philip Werner.
He told Breakfast here on Newstalk he was overwhelmed by the amount of people who came out in solidarity against violence.
