Jimmy Tarbuck has been arrested and questioned by North Yorkshire Police as part of an historic child sex abuse inquiry.
It follows a complaint about an alleged assault on a young boy in Harrogate in the late 70s.
The British comedian, 73, was detained at his home in south-west London eleven days ago and later released on bail while inquiries continue.
