Sometimes you want to start the race early - and there's just no stopping you.

Well that was the case with Tanaiste Joan Burton today, as she helped announce 80 new jobs at a software firm in west Dublin.

In her haste to cut the ribbon, she did it before waiting photographers were ready.

Looking gleeful at her move, Ms Burton simply placed the ribbon back together with her hands - with some help from Jobs Minister Richard Bruton.

She's a cut above the rest (of the people waiting to cut the ribbon)....
