Udaras na Gealtachta says investment and regional development funding has led to job creation in Gealtacht areas.

The authority says the number of new jobs in these areas is at its highest level since 2008.

Figures for 2014 show that over 7,600 jobs were created by client companies in 2014.

Of these, 100 jobs were created by 28 new start-ups.
