John Terry has been found not guilty of racially abusing Anton Ferdinand.

Chief magistrate Howard Riddle said that although Ferdinand was a “believable witness”, and “brave” to give evidence, it is impossible to prove what Terry said that day in Loftus Road.

He said that Terry “gave the same account throughout,” and that Ashley Cole had corroborated his statement.
