A jury in the trial of a man accused of murdering the Mother of his children has resumed its deliberations.
Vesel Jahiri of Louth Village, Dundalk, Co. Louth denies stabbing Anna Finnegan to death at her home in Dublin in September 2012.
Anna Finnegan (25) died after being stabbed at her home in Allendale Glen in Clonsilla, Dublin 15.
Vesel Jahiri is accused of breaking down Ms. Finnegan's front door and attacking her brother Karl, before stabbing her in the chest.
Earlier in the trial, Karl Finnegan told the court he tried to defend himself with a chair before being stabbed in the head and upper body.
But Mr. Jahiri denies this and claims it was Karl who produced the knives and that Anna was injured while trying to stop him from attacking.
Previously, the court heard how Vesel and Anna's ten year relationship deteriorated in the lead up to her death and that access to their two children was a key aspect of the case.
The jurors have begun their deliberations and will have to decide whether or not Vesel Jahiri is guilty of murder.
