Alan Harte of Claireville Grove, Glasnevin, denies murdering 28-year-old Peter Gunn at a flat in Cabra Park five years ago.

Peter Gunn's body was found lying in a water filled ditch behind Dublin airport eleven days after he was dumped there on the fourth of January 2009.

A post mortem revealed he'd been stabbed in the heart and also suffered wounds to the face, trunk, hands and lung.

The State Pathologist Marie Cassidy concluded it wasn't a swift death.

From the stand earlier this week, Alan Harte told the jurors he witnessed an Albanian man kill the father of two in front of him.

However, Kastriot Boza said the exact opposite when he gave evidence on behalf of the prosecution.

He claimed the accused plunged a knife into the victim's chest after he insulted his uncle.

Harte claims Mr. Boza is lying and it's now been left up to the jury to decide whether he's guilty of murdering his friend or of impeding the prosecution.
