Katie Taylor will fight Amanda Serrano in Dublin on May 20th this year.
Taylor's promoter shared the news today just minutes after Serrano was crowned the undisputed world featherweight champion after defeating Erika Cruz.
The announcement comes after an offer from Conor McGregor to foot the bill and have the fight in Croke Park.
The venue had initially been passed on as it was said an additional €500,000 would be charged for security.
But this week millionaire fighter McGregor took to Twitter to offer his support to try make the event happen.
"The extra security bill is 500k to have Katie Taylor fight at Croke park? I will sponsor the event to see this happen", McGregor wrote.

Taylor is an Olympian and a two-weight world champion.
In 2019, she became one of only eight boxers in history to hold all four major world titles in boxing—WBA, WBC, IBF, and WBO at the same time.
Taylor beat Serrano at a sold-out Madison Square Garden last year.
If the rematch takes place in Croke Park, it will be Taylor's first time fighting on home turf as a professional.
The Irish venue has not been confirmed yet.

Taylor's promoter Eddie Hearn has responded positively to McGregor's offer, tweeting: "Let's talk."
Despite the cost of a having the fight in Croke Park being up to "three times" that of having it in Wembley Stadium, he is keen to get Taylor a home fight.
"I promised Katie Taylor, it's time, this is an Irish icon, it’s time to fight in Ireland", he said.
"One thing's for sure, Katie Taylor's next fight will be in Ireland."
