The Co Wicklow boxer Katie Taylor has been declared the undisputed lightweight world champion.
She won her fight against Belgian boxer Delfine Persoon on a majority decision.
It was a close result, with the judges ultimately giving scores of 95-95, 96-94 and 96-94 - securing the WBC title for Katie.
Speaking after the fight in New York's Madison Square Garden, Katie told Sky News: "I racked up some nice rounds early on. I knew she was going to come on strong, but I thought I did enough in the end."
Unifying the four lightweight titles marks the high-point of Taylor's professional career.
The 32-year-old from Bray rose to prominence with her gold medal win at the 2012 London Olympics, before turning professional in 2016.
President Michael D Higgins Tweeted his congratulations to Katie:
“My warmest congratulations to @KatieTaylor on reaching the pinnacle of achievement in her sport, becoming the undisputed lightweight world champion.”
