A fund set up to help repatriate the bodies of a mother and her daughter, originally from Lithuania, who were stabbed to death in Kerry last week has raised thousands of euro.
27-year-old Jolanta Lubiene and her 8-year-old daughter Enrika were murdered at their home in Killorglin over a week ago.
Locals have described the generosity of the public as marvellous and say the fund will not only cover repatriation expenses but there will also be money left over for the family.
Last night a man in his 40s who was being held on suspicion of with-holding information in relation to these killings was released without charge.
A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
