Russian separatists have been continuing to try and take control of official buildings in Eastern Ukraine - despite the Kiev government's launch of what it calls a "counter-terrorism" operation.

Tonight there are fears of casualties as the Ukrainians move to retake an occupied airfield.

Meanwhile - Russian President Vladimir Putin has called for the United Nations to condemn Kiev's actions.
