Doughnut company Krispy Kreme has confirmed its Dublin drive-through will again open around the clock, after noise issues previously led to reduced opening hours.
The US chain's first Irish outlet opened in Blanchardstown last year.
However, it decided to end its 24/7 drive-through service just a week after opening.
The company acknowledged that some customers "beeping their horns and disturbing families in nearby apartment complexes" had caused issues.
In response, the drive-through opening hours were reduced to 6am to 11:30pm.
That decision has now been reversed, and the drive-through will again be open around the clock from June 24th.
Krispy Kreme says they have spoken with employees, centre management and local residents as part of efforts to find solutions to the issues.
A new traffic management plan has been introduced in a bid to cut down queuing time to around 15 minutes.
A dedicated phone number will be available for locals to call during the 'initial period' of the new opening hours.
Meanwhile, the company is pledging to 'actively monitor' the queue - adding that any disruptive customers will be refused service and told to leave the queue.
In a statement, Krispy Kreme's country director for Ireland, Alex Drysdale, said: "Over the past few months we have undertaken extensive planning and research, set up an information and consultation event, and spoken with relevant authorities and employees .
"We intend to be a popular employer and good neighbour in Blanchardstown for quite some time.”
