Gardaí investigating the disappearance of Kyran Durnin are subjecting a property in Drogheda to an "intrusive" search.
Technical and forensic examinations of the house and garden are being carried out by the Divisional Search team, the Garda National Technical Bureau, Divisional Scene of Crime and Forensic Science Ireland.
A specialist Cadaver dog is also at the property to assist Gardaí in the search.
The search of another property in Drogheda has been completed and a Garda spokesperson said no additional details of would be released for “operational reasons”.
Earlier today, a man was arrested on suspicion of murder and he remains detained in a Garda station in the east of the country.
On Tuesday, a woman was arrested on suspicion of murder and released without charge on Wednesday.
If alive, Kyran would be eight-years-old and Gardaí have urged anyone with information “no matter how insignificant it may seem” to get in touch with them.
