The search of a property in Drogheda by Gardaí investigating the disappearance and murder of Kyran Durnin has ended.

Kyran was last seen in 2022 when he was six years old; however, it is believed he may have died over two years ago.

For the past three days, Gardaí and forensics excavated a backyard, while they also seized electronic devices and documents from the home.

These will now be examined; however it is understood that nothing of evidential value has been found.

This is the third home in County Louth to be searched since October last year.

The investigation into the murder of Kyran Durnin continues.
