Woman shouldn't be ashamed about their vaginal health and realise that intervention is key.
Pharmacist Laura Dowling said it is important that we break down the stigma.
She brought along her sister Rachel to Newstalk's offices to demonstrate what she means.
"I'm here at Newstalk to talk about the shame associated with the female body and the changes that happen in the female body," she said.
"To help me in my quest I brought with me today my beautiful sister who is an upcycled vulva".

Laura said it's important for people to realise a few things.
"Every vulva is unique," she said.
"I have seen first-hand how women ignore their health.
"They are ashamed of their anatomy, ashamed of what changes happen as they get older.
"They do not seek medical advice when actually intervention can really make things a lot easier for them".
She said issues like incontinence, dry vagina, uncomfortable sex and UTIs can all be eased.
"If they know where to get the help it can make a massive difference to their overall sense of well-being and their happiness," she added.
Laura will be hosting 'Viva La Vulva 2.0' at the National Concert Hall next month to talk all things women’s health.
