Lawyers for the surviving Boston Marathon bombing suspect are asking a federal judge to delay his trial until September.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is scheduled to go on trial on the 5th of January on multiple charges - and faces the death penalty if convicted.

Three people died and more than 260 were injured when two bombs went off at the finish line of the marathon in April 2013.
