At least three people have died, seven others are injured and a suspected gunman has been killed by police following a shooting at a US Navy facility in Florida.
Police said the gunman was shot dead by officers a few minutes after he opened fire at the Naval Air Station in Pensacola.
The shooting happened in a classroom facility at the training site, officials said during a press conference on Friday morning local time.
Two people died at the scene, while a third died in hospital.
Authorities said two deputies who confronted the gunman were taken to a local hospital with injuries that aren't believed to be life-threatening.
The White House said Donald Trump is monitoring the situation.
Today's shooting comes two days after a separate shooting at a different US Navy facility.
Two civilian employees were killed when an active duty sailor opened fire at Hawaii's Pearl Harbour Naval Shipyard on Wednesday afternoon.
One other person was injured in the shooting.
Police said the gunman in that attack died from an "apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound".
