It turns out that staff at Letterkenny General Hospital were invited to an unfortunately titled 'After The Rain' celebration last Friday week, to thank them for their perseverance after last year's floods.

Within days, they'd have the mops and buckets out again.

The event was held in the 'temporary' dining room, included free hot/cold buffet and desserts, 'cash draws' and music from a Garth Brooks tribute act. Here's hoping the floods won't be five in a row...
