The Courtmacsherry lifeboat was called this afternoon after a yacht was demasted in strong winds off the coast of Cork.
The 35 foot yacht got into difficulty off the Seven Heads peninsula in West Cork at around 3pm.
The lifeboat team managed to make safe the sails which had fallen into the water and towed the vessel to the safety of Courtmacsherry Harbour.
