Lilt is being replaced as a standalone brand in Ireland after nearly 50 years.
The soft drink is being rebranded as Fanta Pineapple and Grapefruit.
This is part of a gradual nationwide roll-out from February 14th, parent company Coca-Cola Ireland said.
Aisling Wilde is Frontline Activation Country Lead for Ireland.
She said nothing else is changing about the drink.
"The recipe hasn't changed at all - it's still the same totally tropical taste fans know and love but in new packaging," she explained.
"The whole Lilt brand is joining the Fanta family.
"Lilt and Lilt Zero will now be Fanta Pineapple and Grapefruit, and Fanta Zero Pineapple and Grapefruit respectively.
"However it's only the name and branding that have changed - the ingredients will be the same," she added.
Adverts for the drink were usually set on a tropical, beach-laden landscape.
