A boy from Limerick has become Ireland's youngest member of Mensa.
John Fitzgerald (6) from Kildimo was officially told he had made the cut two days ago.
His parents say they are not surprised.

John was memorising the alphabet and reading the newspaper long before he started school.
John's father, Barry Fitzgerald, says he first noticed there was something special about him when he began correcting his father's reading.
And John - who has a reading age of 16 - just presented a project he did on the Brazilian footballer Pele to his whole school.
