Two men who were arrested in Limerick in connection with organised crime in the city have been released without charge.

The men - one aged in his 20s and the other in his 30s - were arrested on Thursday after gardai uncovered a firearm, ammunition and cash along with quantities of cocaine and cannabis during the search during search of a number of locations in the city.

A file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
