Milan police will remove a number of billboards from the city after complaints that its risqué nature will cause traffic accidents.
The Daily Mail reports the underwear ads, which feature Argentinian model and presenter Belén Rodríguez, are deemed to be "a serious danger for vehicular circulation" by local residents.
A local resident's committee petitioned the police about the possible dangers, and now local authorities will begin removing the billboards.
Ms Rodríguez, speaking to The Times, said that the ads were "sensual, but elegant" and would not cause any problems.
Similarly racy billboards by H&M (2003) and Wonderbra (1994) have previously been linked to road traffic accidents.
