Social network LinkedIn has announced plans to create 800 new jobs at its EMEA headquarters in Dublin.
The company is planning to expand to 2,000 employees in Dublin by next summer.
More than 100 roles are currently open in areas such as sales, marketing and finance.
Sharon McCooey, head of LinkedIn Ireland, said: "Our Irish office has become our second largest office in the world, after our global HQ, and our Irish members are some of the most active and engaged on our platform.
"We’re hugely grateful to the Government, the IDA, and the people of Dublin, for their support which has enabled us to grow from a team of three people to 2,000.”
Business Minister Heath Humphreys said she was 'delighted' with the company's announcement.
She said: "I am particularly pleased that LinkedIn’s ReturnIn scheme will provide extra support for those seeking to return to the workforce after taking a career break to look after children or acting as a carer."
LinkedIn's platform is aimed at professionals, allowing users to network with others.
It also offers job advertisements and other services.
The company says it has more than 600 million members, including two million in Ireland.
They're currently based at Wilton Place near the Grand Canal, and are also due to take extra office space at One Wilton Park from late 2020.
