Alleged Islamic State member Lisa Smith may be spending Christmas Day in jail despite being granted bail last week.

The 37-year-old mother of one from Co Louth has been charged with being a member of an unlawful terrorist group.

Last Thursday she was granted bail on a number of conditions, including a ban from accessing the internet.

But issues surrounding a bail surety for her release have caused delays.
