Gardaí investigating the murder of Dublin woman Lisa Thompson are searching for a man who anonymously delivered a document to Finglas Garda Station last week.
Ms Thompson was found dead at her home in Sandyhill Gardens, Ballymun last Tuesday.
The 52-year-old mother of two had been stabbed up to 12 times and may have been dead for a number of days.
No arrests have been made and gardai are still investigating possible motives for the attack.
This morning, a Garda spokesperson issued an appeal for information on man who visited Finglas Garda Station last week.
He said the man “handed a document in the name the name of the deceased Lisa Thompson to a Garda staff member at the front door” of the station at around 7:10am on Thursday.
The man then left the area on foot.
Gardaí are calling on the man to make urgent contact with the investigation team at Ballymun Garda Station.
Investigators are continuing to appeal for witnesses to come forward.
They are particularly interested in talking to anyone who was in the Sandyhill area between Saturday and Tuesday of last week and may have video footage.
