An Army Bomb Disposal Team has made safe a live grenade in Co. Clare.
The 20th Century device was found by a worker at Ennis recycling plant earlier.
The Defence Forces deployed a team to the Gort Road Industrial Estate following a request from the Gardaí.

203rd call-out for team
The grenade was made safe by means of controlled explosion.
The scene was declared safe at 2.15pm.
Ennis recycling centre has now re-opened to the public.
This brings to 203 the total callouts dealt with so far in 2012 by the Army Bomb Disposal Team and it is the 32nd callout to historical ordnance.
