Visit any major landmark these days and you'll be met with countless tourists taking countless photographs with digital cameras, phones and tablets. At its most extreme, you'd wonder if some people ever even took the opportunity to look with their own eyes.
There can still be a very special quality to a good photograph though, and there are very few tourist hotspots quite as photogenic as those in Paris. This is especially true when you have the assistance of a beautiful retro camera.
In the video below, a team calling themselvesĀ Maison CarnotĀ take to the streets of France's capital with a Pentax 67. They capture the people, the places and stories of Paris in a way that feels fresh, unique and more than a little romantic. An Instagram emulation just isn't the same:
