Last night's winning Lotto ticket was sold in a Galway suburb, the National Lottery has revealed.
There was one winner of the Lotto jackpot worth more than €4 million, and the ticket was sold at Joyce’s Supermarket in Doughiska Shopping Centre.
The winning numbers were 9, 10, 34, 37, 40, 47 and the bonus number was 7.
Store owner of Joyce’s Supermarket, Pat Joyce, said: "We are absolutely thrilled to have sold the winning jackpot ticket and it’s fantastic news for our customers in the Doughiska community.
"We’ve been spreading the good news to our locals this morning and getting them to check their Lotto tickets."
He said he hopes the winner is someone living in the local area, adding: "Doughiska is a lovely place, one that has grown a lot in terms of population in recent years and is a multicultural town".
Whoever has the winning ticket is being urged to sign it and contact the National Lottery prize claims team.
Meanwhile, there was also one winner of the top €1 million prize in the Lotto Plus 1 draw.
That ticket was sold in the Spar Maxol store and service station on Church Road, Tullamore, Co Offaly.
