A family syndicate from Co Meath has claimed a Lotto jackpot of more than €10.6m.
The two winners bought a €4 quick pick in Souhan's Filling Station in Trim on Easter Saturday, April 4th.
The pair picked up their winnings at the National Lottery offices in Dublin today, but have decided to remain private.
They are planning to give money to their family, pay off their mortgages and get a new car or two.
"Don't forget to buy a Lotto ticket, it's a rollover! That was the reminder I got last Saturday before I went out to get some shopping," said one of the lucky winners.
"I might never have bought the ticket if it wasn't for that!".
"I was watching Match of the Day that evening and thought, I better check that ticket, so I looked up the results on Teletext. I just could believe it!".
The two winners celebrated with a glass of champagne.
"We'll help out our family, pay off our mortgages, get a new car or two, but most of all, we intend to enjoy it. We're just so happy."
"It feels like life has just begun and the possibilities are endless," they said.
This is the second Lotto jackpot to be won this year.
Last month, a syndicate of two from Newbridge, Co Kildare collected their jackpot prize of €10.2m, which they won on February 5th.
