A status yellow low temperature warning remains in place across the country this evening.
Temperatures dropped to minus 4 degrees last night, and are predicted to fall as low as minus 6 tonight.
The yellow alert began at 9pm on Saturday and is expected to continue until 10am on Monday morning.

In their general forecast, Met Eireann warns that untreated roads will have icy stretches, and patches of freezing fog will also develop.
