Red Line Luas services are returning to normal after an earlier incident. Trams were only running between Saggart/Tallaght and Blackhorse for a time.

It is understood a pedestrian was crossing the tracks when he got trapped under the front of a tram.

A witness told Newstalk the man was not seriously injured.

Passengers on-board the tram had to disembark, while emergency services dealt with the incident.

Two fire brigade units and an ambulance were called to the scene.
