Ukraine's foreign minister claims Russia launched one its largest air attacks overnight.
Explosions were heard in the capital Kyiv, while strikes were also reported in Lviv.
In Kharkiv nearly five thousand children are being taught in metro stations, due to fears about missile attacks on school buildings.
Speaking through an interpreter, neurologist Dmytro Mitelyov said the pupils are struggling.
“They live in a constant state of stress – multifaceted stress caused by a range of factors,” he said.
“They're exposed to things they see and hear like alarms, explosions – and they feel it all.”
Critical infrastructure was also hit in the Zaporzhzhia region.
