A male teenager has been arrested following a serious assault and robbery on three men in Temple Bar on Friday night.

Gardaí in Pearse Street have arrested a male teenage juvenile in relation to the investigation of a serious assault and robbery that occurred on Fownes Street Upper, Dublin 2 on the night of Friday 11th August 2023 at approximately 10p.m.

The teenager is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at a Garda station in Dublin city centre.

Three men in their 20s were injured, and taken to St James's Hospital by ambulance for treatment.

All three men have been released from hospital.

Investigations are ongoing.
